It Was A Pretty Day

Thursday, July 12, 2007 - Day 21

Distance traveled - 29 miles

I'm not going to lie, I'm writing this weeks later, and even looking at the pictures, I don't remember a lot about this day. There were some really long, very long hills, that wound on forever. There was plenty of nice scenery. To be honest, though, I don't remember a lot of what I was thinking about. I wish I did, and I'm sure I could think of some things if I really racked my brain, but I'd rather move on. Enjoy the pictures anyway.

This was the day that I met some more fellow riders and the first rider going north that I've come across. His name is Steve, a small British man. He is nice and very matter-of-fact. The other guy is Ken. He has biked this route before and is actually ending his trip at Salt Creek, getting picked up by his mom. They guy is easily almost 50. Interesting guy, though. He has a really nice throwing hatchet that he uses to chop firewood and as a knife. It's a bit intimidating.

That's about it, I suppose. Maybe I'll come back and fill in more later if more comes to me.
